Safe Harbor’s 2016 Annual Christmas Fund
Just a glimpse of what your support meant to our participants last Christmas:

“It meant a lot to me…It felt good.”
– Kenneth J., paroled participant

“Receiving a gift meant a great deal to me. It came right on time. I got hygiene products, socks, shirts, etc. It had been about 17 years since I received my last Christmas present.”
– Terry S., paroled participant

With Thanksgiving and Christmas almost here, we are reaching out to you to ask if you would help us help the homeless.

At Safe Harbor, we consider it a privilege to serve the men and women in our care. These participants have come to us from living in the streets or ex-offenders that needed somewhere to go. We strive to provide them with so much more than food and shelter—we strive to make a lasting difference through group and pastoral counseling, life building classes, and finding them permanent employment which provides stability once they leave our care.

The holiday season presents such a huge door for us to minister and remind those in need that someone cares about them. Your monetary donation will  help to provide every resident with a Christmas meal and a gift which will be a tangible example to our residents that they are valued. For so many at Safe Harbor, the holidays are a struggle because they do not have anywhere to go or any family to share it with.

Would you consider partnering with us this Christmas to make a lasting impact? We appreciate your support and pray that God will bless you as you have blessed!

Together we are making difference,

Brad S. Bowie,

Recently at Safe Harbor we have been working on improving our facility to better serve the 65+ men in our care. We are striving to do a Great Work at Safe Harbor of Memphis – both in house and in the community. We want you to join us in our quest to heal this WORLD one person at a time and a great way to make our participants feel important and valued is to have clean, up-to-date, and fresh facilities. These pictures represent some of the makeovers we have been working on to give our property a much needed face lift. I am asking you to be a part of our movement by donating money, time, or materials. Your contributions will help us to better care for the men we are helping rebuild their lives. You can sponsor building materials which can range from paint, tools, tile, landscaping, and more or sponsor hygiene products such as soaps, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, toilet paper, etc. EVERY donation is helpful!
